Dr. Richard Van West-Charles

Dr. Richard Van West-Charles is a Public Health trained physician. He worked in the Public Health System of Guyana and later was appointed as a Minister in the Government of Guyana. He was responsible for the following sectors viz Health; Water; Housing and the Environment. He also had the Ministerial responsibility for Medical Education, Food Policy and the Environment. While holding the Ministerial positions he was also the Chairman of the Civil Defense Commission and the Bilateral Mixed Commissions with the Republic of Cuba and Germany. While holding the Ministerial position he was also a member of the Executive Committee of the Pan American Sanitary Bureau and the Executive Board of the World Health Organization. Dr Van West-Charles joined the World Health Organization within the Region of the Americas and was the Program Officer for the Eastern Caribbean Island and later the WHO Representative to Jamaica, Cayman Islands and Bermuda; The Commonwealth of the Bahamas and Turks and Caicos. He was later appointed as the Area Manager in the Regional Office of the WHO in the Americas with responsibility for Information, Knowledge Management, Research and Bioethics. After his resignation from PAHO/WHO he headed an NGO Partnership and Networking for the Development of Guyana. He was later appointed as the Managing Director of the Guyana Water Company for the period

Abayomi Balogun

Abayomi a graduate of Accounting with an MBA in Finance from Obafemi Awolowo Univeristy is Chartered Accountant with over 27 years combined/extensive experience in accounting for Manufacturing Operations, Oil and Gas (O&G) Accounting/Business Processes which included Production, Drilling, EPC Projects,Audits & Controls, SAP(ERP) Implementations for O&G Industry Specific Solutions, and operational best practices. I worked for years at Cadbury Nigeria Plc starting as Management Trainee rising to the position of Investment Manager, Accenture as Finance Specialist and has in recent years, built and supported complex business wide enterprise systems as Functional Finance and Controls Consultant with cross functional experiences in the implementation and support of SAP ERP solutions mostly in Oil & Gas for ExxonMobil in Nigeria, Chad, Equatorial Guinea, Europe. Worked as Senior Consultant for TotalEnergies SAP Implementation in Nigeria and at the Nigerian National Oil Company. Also involved with implementation of SAP in Manufaturing, Real Estate, Healthcare and Shipping/Logistics Companies. With extensive Project experiences working seamlessly with teams in Africa, Asia, UK, USA and Europe

As SAP Cross Functional Consultant and Business Process Expert, I was key member of project teams as senior leads responsible for business process definition, business process reengineering and technology implementations for efficiency and controls in several companies across most sectors of the economy. A leader with excellent inter-personal skills and a team player with great passion for excellence, I led teams within multi-national environments and achieved optimal results within very strict timelines.

Am involved with founding Xperts Consulting and Infoworks Nigeria Ltd both Technology Companies and a Board Member of Cruxdeals a specialized Finance Company all located in Lagos

Anthony Nnoli

Anthony is the Director for Capacity Building for West Africa South America Alliance, Inc. (WASA Alliance Inc). He has over 15 years’ experience in leading and managing personnel in equipment maintenance and materials management. Prior to joining WASA Inc, Anthony worked in both support and management roles in the Power, Communications Systems and Oil and Gas industries. Anthony believes that science and technology are not only the fundamental part of development, but also very critical in building a sustainable economy around the world. He also believes that developing human capital in various industries is critical in today’s ever-changing world; an educated and trained populace is the engine of productivity and economic growth in every society. Anthony Nnoli has a BSc. In Electrical Engineering from Enugu State University of Science and Technology Nigeria, MSc. In Communication Systems Engineering from the University of Portsmouth United Kingdom, and MSc. In Industrial Engineering Management from the University of Houston, USA.

Ganiyu Tiamiyu

Graduate of Electrical Engineering from University of Lagos Nigeria. Has had 20 Years work experience covering work with Accentrue as Process Industry expert helping to implement Enterprice Resource Planning packages and change management in the Oil and Gas across MIddle East and Africa. Led SAP Implementation projects in companies with companies like SHELL in NIgeria, Gabon and Egypt as well as EXXON MOBIL in Nigeria and SABIC in Saudi Arabia. Married with two daughters and enjoys traveling and watching soccer

Goke is currently the CEO of Steepwise Corporation, an Oil and Gas Consulting firm located in Mississauga, Canada. He has over 20 years of oil and gas industry experience having worked with Schlumberger in numerous technical and Management positions. His last role was the Drilling Engineering Center Manager, Algeria covering the North African Region. He has held similar positions in Nigeria, covering West African Region. He holds a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Electronics & Eletrical Engineering from the prestigious Obafemi Awolowo University, Ife, Nigeria. He is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineeers.
